Bloomington, Ill. – March 16, 2023 – The Illinois Soybean Growers (ISG) will be hosting a Lobby Day Event with the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association on Wednesday, March 22 in Springfield, Ill.
The day will begin at 10 a.m. with a legislative brunch and briefing at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel. Following the brunch, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Illinois legislators at the Illinois State Capitol Building from noon to 4:30 p.m. The evening will end back at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel with a legislative cocktail reception where drinks and hors d’oeurves will be provided from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Andrew Larson, the Illinois Soybean Association Director of Government Relations & Strategy, said, “ISG members have the opportunity to share their voices directly with members of the General Assembly at this event. There are no more powerful lobbyists than the folks policy impacts directly. Join other ISG members in attending on the 22nd and be the true voice for soy.”
There is no cost to attend as this event is an opportunity for ISG members to highlight agricultural priorities in Illinois while meeting state legislators.
