ISA Seeks Project Pre-Proposals for FY21 Funding Cycle

BLOOMINGTON, ILL – March 16, 2020 – The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is now accepting pre-proposals for FY21 in four areas: farmer profitability, influence and reach, efficient product delivery and marketplace. The fiscal year runs from September 1, 2020 through Aug. 31, 2021.

Pre-Proposals will be evaluated on their effectiveness at addressing the needs of Illinois soybean producers and the Illinois soybean industry. They also will be reviewed for providing a return on ISA’s mission, which is to ensure Illinois soy is the highest quality, most dependable, sustainable and competitive in the marketplace.

Pre-Proposals are due no later than 12:00 p.m., CST, April 15, 2020. Pre-Proposals will be submitted via ISA’s project management database. Any inquiries can be directed to proposals@ilsoy.org.

“We invite those with innovative project ideas to submit requests for proposals. Our Production and Outreach and Marketing Committees, and then the full board, will evaluate each project proposal for potential funding,” says John Lumpe, ISA CEO.

For the current fiscal year, project efforts have focused on ISA strategic plan, which can be found at: https://www.ilsoy.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/SPARC.pdf
