ILLINOIS FARMER VISITS ROME AND GHANA

In the latest 'Bean There' blog, read about Roberta Simpson-Dolbeare's recent trip to Rome and Ghana, where she had the opportunity to meet with global food security organizations, such as the U.N. World Food Program, to see WISHH's work in aquaculture, poultry, and human foods.

PROJECT BROADBAND BREAKTHROUGH COMES TO SUCCESSFUL CLOSE

Project Broadband Breakthrough held final presentations from the inaugural class of participants. Facilitated by ISA, the five county cohorts spent several weeks gathering information and contacting broadband providers that offer broadband resources in their counties, designing and deploying countywide broadband surveys, and developing their own funding applications.

ILLINOIS STATE FAIR BOX OFFICE OPENING

Tickets to attend the Illinois State Fair ITPA Truck and Tractor Pulls, presented by ISA, are now available! ISA Vice Chairman, Ron Kindred, recently shared his enthusiasm for the event, as many contestants will be using biodiesel to fuel their pulling tractors. 

In a recent interview with Brownfield, ISA Trade & Exports Manager, Eileen Urish, discussed how ISA’s market development initiatives, like the Soy Excellence Centers, have increased Illinois soybean exports to Egypt.
