BLOOMINGTON, ILL – June 7, 2022 – Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) has named Jenna Siegel, originally from Marion, Ohio, as Market Development Coordinator effective June 6, 2022.

Siegel attended Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois before transferring to Iowa State University. She was a member of both schools’ livestock judging teams and was heavily involved in numerous agricultural clubs and organizations. Siegel graduated from Iowa State in May 2022 with a degree in agricultural business and a minor in animal science. Today, she is proud to call Illinois home.

As Market Development Coordinator, Siegel will work with the Director of Market Development and the ISA communications team to manage ISA’s messaging and engagement around animal agriculture, aquaculture, and other soy protein topics. She will also work with the Director of Market Development to manage ISA’s relationship with animal ag groups in Illinois, which will include efforts to expand soy-fed animal operations.

“Jenna’s background, academic experience and skillset will be tremendously advantageous to the ISA team as we continue to increase our access to soy protein markets, cultivate new relationships, and grow global appetites for soy from Illinois,” says ISA Director of Market Development, Andrew Larson. “This role will be instrumental in posturing ISA to influence consumer demand and marketplace accessibility.”
The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) checkoff and membership programs represent more than 43,000 soybean farmers in Illinois. The checkoff funds market development and utilization efforts while the membership program supports the government relations interests of Illinois soybean farmers at the local, state, and national level, through the Illinois Soybean Growers (ISG). ISA upholds the interests of Illinois soybean producers through promotion, advocacy, and education with the vision of becoming a market leader in sustainable soybean production and profitability. For more information, visit the website and
