Domestic Markets Manager
Tim Rendall is the Domestic Markets Manager for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA). In his role, Rendall works to grow and expand the use of soy in the domestic feed, food, fiber and fuel industries. He supports a portfolio of ISA projects focused on increasing the demand for Illinois soy throughout the domestic market by partnering with farmers, producers and partner organizations to develop innovative and novel strategies to strengthen and develop soy markets.
Rendall has more than 10 years of experience leading agricultural programs focused on sustainability, market development, and social impact. In his former role as Managing Director of the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Processing and Post-Harvest Handling at Purdue University, he led the strategy and operations of a USAID-funded research-for-development consortium focused on reducing post-harvest losses and improving food processing in low and middle-income contexts. He has worked across the globe leading food and agriculture initiatives in the USA, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. Rendall holds a Master of Science Degree in Technical Systems Management from the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
