Digital Communications Specialist
About
Lee Deal is the Digital Communications Specialist for the Illinois Soybean Association. In her role, she oversees email marketing, data and analytics reporting, and website maintenance.
Lee’s background is in agricultural education and communications, starting her career as a high school agriculture teacher & FFA advisor and working most recently on the Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom team. Lee has a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Life Sciences Education from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in Community and Leadership Development from the University of Kentucky.
In her free time, Lee can be found home on the family farm in rural Bloomington with her husband and two young boys, who are all most likely in a tractor or wishing they were. Lee keeps busy with her flock of backyard chickens, the sourdough starter she should probably feed, and the garden she swears to perfect next year.
