External Relations Coordinator
Gracie Scheets is the External Relations Coordinator for the Illinois Soybean Association. She continues to carry the values and lessons learned from growing up on her family’s grain farm in Heyworth, Illinois. Her fond memories of hauling grain at sunset and learning from her grandfather still inspire her daily. What began as a decade of involvement in 4H has grown into a lifelong passion for agriculture and community engagement. The skills she developed in livestock care, photography, baking, and gardening have deepened, allowing her to make a broader impact in the agricultural world. With years of hands-on experience in the field and an education in agribusiness, she plays a vital role on the Government Relations team, advocating for the future of soy. She is eager to continue making a difference in the industry she holds so close to her heart.
