Sostaric is meeting and travel coordinator for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA). In this role, he is part of the meeting planning team and is responsible for planning and logistics of events. Additionally, he assists board and staff with travel, registrations and other needs to ensure successful implementation of organization events. Based in the Chicago office, Sostaric is the main point of contact for ISA activities around the city.
Sostaric earned his bachelor of arts in geography from Syracuse University and master of urban planning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He previously was public outreach & communications coordinator/ regional planner with the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission, where he was responsible for coordinating and tracking agency public outreach activities, including promotion, documentation and meetings. He was also point person for safety projects funded through the Highway Safety Improvement Program.
In his free time, Sostaric enjoys traveling, especially to National Park Service properties, photography and continually improving his baking and cooking skills.
