Scott Gaffner, Greenville, Ill., is the assistant secretary-treasurer of the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA). He raises corn and soybeans and is an at-large director. He sits on the ISA Marketing Committee and represents ISA interests with the National Biodiesel Board, Soy Aquaculture Alliance and U.S. Meat Export Federation. He also is a previous Soy Ambassador. Gaffner attended Lincoln Christian University, Greenville University and Western Illinois University and has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He has been a lieutenant with the Illinois State Police for nearly 30 years, instructs as an adjunct professor at Greenville University and is active in his church. He and wife, Jamie, have two children in college.
