Scott Gaffner, Greenville, Illinois, is the Market Development Committee Chairman of the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) and serves on the Governance Committee. He raises corn and soybeans and is an at-large director. He represents ISA’s interests with the National Biodiesel Board, Soy Aquaculture Alliance and U.S. Meat Export Federation. He also is a previous Soy Ambassador. Gaffner attended Lincoln Christian University, Greenville University and Western Illinois University and has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He has been a lieutenant with the Illinois State Police for nearly 30 years, instructs as an adjunct professor at Greenville University and is active in his church. He and wife, Jamie, have two children in college.
