David Niekamp, Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) District 8 Director, grows corn and soybeans in Coatsburg, Illinois. Niekamp is a representative for the Soy Transportation Coalition (STC), the Soy Aquaculture Alliance (SAA) and sits on the ISA Market Development Committee. He is also a member of the Adams County Farm Bureau, Illinois Corn Growers Association and Knights of Columbus Council 583. He and his wife, Linda, have three sons, with the youngest involved with the farm.

The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) checkoff and membership programs represent more than 43,000 soybean farmers in Illinois. The checkoff funds market development, soybean production and government relations efforts, while the membership program, Illinois Soybean Growers (ISG) and the Illinois Soybean Growers PAC actively advocates for positive and impactful legislation for farmers at local, state and national levels.
