Policy Manager
About
Michael Stevens is the Policy Manager for the Illinois Soybean Association. He began his career in 2008 with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, where he spent the last seven years as Director of Legislation, serving under four administrations. He then spent nearly three years implementing state and federal hospital and insurance policies for a multi-hospital health system in central Illinois. Most recently, he advocated for responsible K–12 public education policy for a statewide school management association. Michael currently lives in Mount Zion with his wife and three young sons.
