2023 20 Under 40 Farmer

Cody is excited and proud to be named an Illinois 20 Under 40 Farmer. When he gets to work hard to be the best he can be, and someone recognizes that, it is a great feeling. It has served Cody as a reminder to continue to stay on track and keep up the good work he's been doing. Looking forward to the 2024 crop year, Cody looks to improve his operation. He has goals for his farm to continue to be successful, so his kids can have the same kind of opportunities he has had. He looks forward to the future challenges he is sure to face, it makes him become a better farmer and a better individual. One lesson he has been taught by his father-in-law is to work hard, and always go the extra mile, "it's not crowded." Cody loves the challenge that farming presents to him. Every year is always different, and he likes to reflect on the previous year and make a game plan to make the next year better. There is no plateau to reach in farming, you must continue to get better. He loves the lifestyle of farming and the lessons it teaches him and his family.
