Illinois Soybean Association Wins Five National Agri-Marketing Awards

The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) took top honors at the Region IV Best of National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) Awards. NAMA is the premier association for agri-marketing and agri-business professionals. The competition celebrates the best work in agricultural communications.

Funded by the soybean checkoff, ISA communications efforts honored by NAMA include:

ISA board members Rowen Ziegler, soybean farmer from LaHarpe, Ill., and Dan Farney, soybean farmer from Morton, Ill., accepted the awards on behalf of all ISA members. "Winning five Best of NAMA awards is proof of ISA's exceptional communications programs," says Ziegler. "ISA aims to help Illinois soybean producers be the world's most knowledgeable and profitable. That requires outstanding, ongoing communications."

All five award-winning ISA programs will advance to the national NAMA competition this spring.

The Illinois Soybean Program Operating Board (ISPOB) manages the state's soybean checkoff funds through strategic target areas prioritized to enhance soybean farmer profitability and competitiveness. ISPOB invests in programs designed to improve soybean production and programs to increase demand for Illinois soybeans. The mission of the organization is to ensure Illinois soy is the highest quality, most dependable, sustainable and competitive in the global marketplace.
