Nick Harre raises corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa and dairy on his family farm. He and his wife, Andrea, reside in Nashville, Ill. He also is an adjunct research scientist at Purdue University, having studied plant and soil science at Southern Illinois University before earning his Ph.D. in weed science from Purdue. He is a district director for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) and a member of the ISA Utilization Committee. Harre represents soybean producer interests as a member of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) State Technical Committee and by serving on the Ag Advisory Committee for U.S. Congressman John Shimkus.
