ISA Opens FY24 Process for Proposal and Project Funding

ISA is now developing budgets and accepting proposals for FY24, which strategically align with the organization’s key priority areas. The fiscal year runs from Sept. 1, 2023, through Aug. 31, 2024.

Proposals are due by the close of business, 5 p.m. CST, May 1, 2023.

Ron Kindred from Atlanta, Illinois is Vice Chairman of the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) and District 9 Director and serves the Personnel and Governance Committees. He has served the ISA Board for 13 years in capacities including Vice President, Secretary, and Legislative Chairman, and participated in several committees. Kindred is the current Chairman of Illinois Soybean Growers (ISG) SoyPac and a Soy Advocate for ISG’s Voice for Soy program.

Over his career, Kindred has represented Illinois on the American Soybean Association Board as Vice President and Secretary. He remains active with Illinois Farm Bureau and has worked with East Lincoln Farmers Grain as an Atlanta township trustee.

He farms with his wife, Jayne, and son, Jay, raising soybeans and corn.
