A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

Biodiesel offers a cleaner, healthier alternative to standard diesel. When more vehicles in your community make the switch to biodiesel, everyone can breathe a little easier.  Download A Breath of Fresh Air brochure

CERTIFIED CLEAN

Biodiesel is labeled a Clean Air Choice® by the American Lung Association and is designated as an advanced biofuel by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its significantly reduced emissions of particulate matter and other harmful pollutants.

HEALTHIER COMMUNITIES

Biodiesel helps reduce the risk of asthma and other respiratory diseases. According to recent data, communities where biodiesel is regularly used have saved an estimated $1.2 million by reducing hospitalizations, lost workdays and other health costs.

A SMALLER CARBON FOOTPRINT

Compared with regular diesel fuel, biodiesel generates 78.5 percent fewer CO2 emissions (on average) from production and use. Biodiesel also contributes to a sustainable environment, generating 5.54 units of renewable energy for every unit of fossil energy used to produce it. Plus, biodiesel is a renewable fuel made in the U.S. that reduces our nation’s dependence on foreign oil.
