SoyLeaders: Illinois Soybean Leadership Program

Take the Lead

Maybe you're already active in agricultural industry leadership, or maybe you're looking for a way to get started. Either way, the SoyLeaders program may be perfect for you. A two-year training period helps a select group of Illinois farmers prepare to take the lead in agriculture.

The SoyLeaders program is designed to draw more Illinois farmers into active positions in the Illinois soybean industry. Participants will sharpen communications skills and build lasting relationships with fellow farmers and other members of agribusiness. Program participants will also discover the challenges and opportunities facing the soybean industry, give input on Checkoff activities, and learn to promote their crop.

Applicants selected can expect to meet about three times each year. Expenses are covered by the Checkoff.
