Membership
The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is the only organization devoted to the state’s soybean growers and dedicated to producing results in Springfield and Washington, D.C. As a grassroots, membership-based organization, ISA focuses on those regulation and legislative issues that can potentially affect soybean profitability.
Soybean growers who contribute to the Illinois soybean checkoff are NOT automatically members of ISA. Soybean checkoff dollars cannot be used to fund legislative efforts. ISA depends on its dues-paying members to support the association’s political activities.
Current membership benefits for three-year renewing and new members include:
- - Four, $25 biodiesel certificates to be redeemed through a participating fuel retailer (new and expired renewed members only)
- - $100 Partners in Promotion seed certificate redeemable through 16 participating seed companies
- - Optional weekly update
- - Monthly newsletter
As an ISA member, you are automatically an American Soybean Association (ASA) member. You will receive such additional benefits with national membership as:
- - 10% discount on Cabela’s gift cards purchased on www.soygrowers.com)
- - Preferred price (1% below factory invoice) on the purchase or lease of most new Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep vehicles up to twice per year
- - Eligibility of your children and grandchildren to compete for an annual $5,000 scholarship to pursue a college degree in agriculture
- - ASA Today Newsletter
- - Multiple meeting discounts
Dues are currently $195 for a three-year membership. You can join the ISA by calling 309-662-3373, or by clicking here to fill out a membership application. The application can be sent to the address on the form, along with your dues.
