ISA Launches Pod to Plate Curriculum (6-21-2010)
The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) recently unveiled a new comprehensive Pod to Plate curriculum that was created for children in fourth through eighth grades. Pod to Plate includes an educational website as well as related materials for teachers to use. Funded by the soybean checkoff, Pod to Plate will enable educators to teach children about soybeans as they are produced, transported and processed into food and other uses, including aquaculture and soy biodiesel. Throughout the summer, ISA will be presenting Pod to Plate to teachers at educators' workshops throughout the state.

ISA Seeks Leaders for Soy Ambassadors Program (7-23-2010)
Application Deadline Extended to August 1, 2010! The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is now recruiting farmers for the Soy Ambassadors Leadership Program. Created for those who want to take an active role in the soybean industry, the program is targeted toward soybean farmers interested in sharpening their leadership skills. By becoming a Soy Ambassador, participants gain expertise, exposure and a global perspective while having the opportunity to travel abroad and learn new skills at no cost to them.
