Social Responsibility

The Illinois Soybean Association is committed to helping consumers, communities and the world understand the value of soybeans and soybean products in their daily lives. To accomplish this objective, we collaborate with multiple agricultural organizations to educate the public on the role farming plays in society. These outreach efforts -- funded by the Illinois soybean checkoff -- cover a wide range of areas, from Ag in the Classroom to soyfoods, scholarships to the Illinois Farm Families coalition and more.

Ag Literacy
ISA supports the Illinois Ag in the Classroom project through the Pod to Plate educational curriculum and supporting materials.

Crop Sciences Scholarships
Students interested in studying crop sciences can apply for one of 10 $4,000 scholarships available for 2012-13.
