Animal Agriculture

As No. 2 in the nation for soybean production, Illinois has the resources to help support the growing need for animal and fish products.

The demand for meat and fish continues to expand worldwide. By supporting animal agriculture and aquaculture in Illinois, we can capitalize on these opportunities and bring growth to local economies, employment and tax revenues.

Let's work together to build and support a thriving animal agriculture and aquaculture industry in Illinois.

Be informed, share information and help us keep these industries in the Land of Lincoln.

Livestock
Livestock producers are our No. 1 customer. About half of our soybeans are fed to livestock as soybean meal.

Aquaculture
The United Soybean Board helps advocate the use of U.S. soybeans in aquaculture through the investment of soybean checkoff funds in aquaculture research and development projects.
