Advocacy

Creating and maintaining markets for Illinois-grown soybeans is essential to improving overall profitability. In order to keep these pathways open, ISA advocates for equitable public policies and the freedom to operate for all of the state's soybean growers.

Membership
Lobbying for those issues that affect the soybean industry is made possible with funding from ISA membership dues and generous support from SoyConnect partners.

Public Affairs
ISA represents Illinois soybean growers in the pursuit of favorable state and national legislation, which is based on grassroots farmer input and set at the annual meeting.

IL Soy 2020
This semiannual forum provides a venue for ISA to bring together nearly 20 different soybean industry stakeholders to plan for the future.

International Markets
Because Illinois exports more than 200 million bushels of soybeans annually, it is vital that programs continue to target these valuable customers.
