ISA encourages Illinois soybean farmers to apply for the American Soybean Association (ASA) DuPont Young Leader program. The challenging, educational two-part training allows farmers to build leadership skills, expand agricultural knowledge and develop strong peer relationships with farmers from around the country. Phase I of the training takes place at the DuPont Pioneer headquarters in Iowa in November. The training continues in San Antonio, Texas, during the 2017 Commodity Classic. Applications are accepted online here. ASA will work with ISA and DuPont to identify the top producer to represent Illinois as part of this program. One couple or individual per state will be selected. Application deadline is Aug. 1, 2016.
